UNISIG UNI deep
hole drilling machines are designed for high-volume production.
Automotive engine and transmission component drilling are
ideal applications for these machines. Often integrated with
turning centers as a part of manufacturing cells, they come
standard with full enclosure guarding and CNC controls.
Turn-key installations which include tooling, fixturing,
production runoffs and comprehensive on-site training are
a UNISIG specialty.
Gundrill or BTA/STS tooling are used to depending on the drilled hole diameters, hole depths, production rates and other factors. Machines can be constructed to comply with detailed plant specifications with minimal lead-time increase.
