Bottom Forming 
- Bottom forming is essentially a form tooling operation to finish off the base of a hole.
- After deep hole drilling, the part drawing may require a specific form to the blind hole. For such operations, a bottom forming tool is used. The tool is guided with wear pads along the finished hole diameter and has very specific design depending on customer needs.
